Utah Lake State Park is found at the Extreme east end of Center street in Provo Utah a few miles east of I-15. Launch a boat, do some fishing, have a picnic, bar-b-que, do some bird watching, camp, or just enjoy the beautiful 360 degree view
of Utah Valley and the Wasatch Mountains.
Cost is 6 dollars for day use. If you don’t have the money to hang out in the park, when you cross the Provo river and just before entering the park, take a right turn and go a few feet and look to your right. There is a parking lot for the begining (or end) of the Provo River parkway. Another option is to keep going on this road until you run into the T (only a few yards passed the Provo River parkway parking) and take a left. This little parking lot is for Skipper Bay Trail. It is similar to the Provo River parkway, but follows along the lakeshore for about a mile or so.
